Rescue Me ID: 17-11-12-00288Pumpkin (male)

Cockapoo Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Pumpkin was a stray I got from the shelter and was a wreck. We had to take him to the Vet ER the day after adoption, but I have gotten him up to speed. He has yet to make it to the groomers as you can see. He is a very sweet, and loving dog that loves attention. Gives countless kisses. He does however need to be in your presence all the time. I have him crated at home while we work and he does well although he hates it. Because he was a stray Pumpkin will mark and I have him wearing the belly band that you see in the picture. I think he needs someone who has the time to train him to not pee in the house. I've tried, unsuccessfully though. ... (Read More)I'm really asking for the cost when I signned him up with Banfield. He's on a monthly service that cost's me $40 per month. That will get transferred to whomever adopts him. His Shots, vet visits, are all covered and he gets discounted medication. He's on triflexus for heartworm, flea/tick medication. He will need a booster on his vaccines soon, but is currently up to date. He was awesome at getting his shots while at the vet! Not a wimper and was completely still. He would make a great pet for someone. Make your home his forever home! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Cockapoo in Georgia
Cockapoo Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. A Cockapoo is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. Cockapoos are friendly like Cocker Spaniels and shed very little like Poodles. Cockapoos are good family pets and may exhibit a wide variety of characteristics usual in either Cockers or Poodles. A Cockapoo may be half Cocker and half Poodle or have much more of one strain than the other.

lnteresting Cockapoo Trivia Low-Cost Georgia Spay & Neuter Clinics
Cockapoos come in widely different sizes that have different names, such as the Teacup Toy Cockapoo or the Maxi Cockapoo. Because Cockapoos are hybrids, it is difficult to predict the characteristics puppies will have based on the characteristics of the parents. Cockapoos, like both Cockers and Poodles, may suffer from luxating patellas or loose knees.
