Cockapoos are hybrids rather than purebreds but some breeders are trying to develop purebred Cockapoos by breeding Cockapoos with other Cockapoos instead of breeding Cockers with Poodles. Because Cockapoos are hybrids, it is difficult to predict the characteristics puppies will have based on the characteristics of the parents.
